You people, think, you need 60 votes in the senate to pass a CR, do you think the D's are going to let you pass anything w/cuts, I don't. So you pass the CR, comeback with budget reconsilation and cut spending to some degree. this is a game and you have to play, saying NO to everything will do you know good...

My thought is the point of DOGE is to shed light on just how much money is being skimmed by Washington insiders and how.

Now, who would be against an agency who finds fraud and waste in the government? Crooked politicians who scam money form the taxpayers to line their pockets and fund perverted liberal causes. The majority of Americans get it so me a river libtards.

Rescission is the way to cut, but we have to be patient.

Bingo

If Massie wasn’t such an arrogant weasel he would understand. I would respect him a lot more if he would propose bills & act rather than just be a complete obstructionist

There is a difference between a budget and a spend. Say your family budget is 100,000 and you spend 95,000, the savings is not lost, it is not spent. Therefore we do not have to borrow money for the $5,000.

The Democrats will force spending increases by shutting down the government. The GOP will cave and Trump will be neutered. It’s what the GOP and Democrats want.

They have always been an auditor. Spending cuts will have to come from legislation.

Putting a Ron Swanson in charge of every federal government bureaucracy should be one of the top priorities of DOGE.

Didn’t the State Department just release a statement saying 83% of USAid contracts will be cancelled ?

That’s been most of DOGE’s recommendations thus far, yes?

I would prefer they cut all the spending that they could and send the government into a shutdown until enough Democrats vote for the legislation.

We still have limp-wristed politicians is the basic problem.

But by all means, keep appropriating the money in hopes that one day in the distant future we can

Wanting him primaried is retarded.

But so is ignoring what he says.

From what I understand, the money will still be allocated to the department under any Continuing Resolution even if the department is essentially abandoned. Just money floating in the abyss.

Why do people put the word "Bill" after CR. A bill and resolution are distinctly different things.

resolutions are pretty limited and don't require executive approval
