So i bought a robot back pre covid and it was great for about 3 years... morotr went out and i sent it in for RMA and they sent me back one that kinda sucks... Ive limped it for about 2 years now and im ready to look at something newer. This was 1k wen i got it, but i want to look at more budget ones.

I see they now have cordless ones etc. I would only require it to have a dock.

Whats everyone useing nowadays. Ive been seeing a lot of new names in the market.

Following this one. I need a wireless cleaner, or at least a mappable cleaner. I have a table in my pool and my polaris can't spend more than an hour before it's wrapped around the table.

Dolphin is by far the market leader. They have many models from $500 to $1200.

Polaris is probably the second most popular, also several models.

I have owned both. Polaris was by far superior in performance, but the bread down a lot. Got fed up with it and got a Dolphin Quantum. It does an adequate job, not as good as Polaris, but so far is quite reliable.

I got a BeatBot last year - it is good but not incredible.

Had a Polaris Quattro (runs off a booster pump) which I really liked, but I needed to replace some parts on it as it was wearing out. removing the booster pump and hose was a big factor in getting something different.

I was looking at a bunch, but then BeatBot had an offer with 3 year warranty included - so I took a chance. It cleans about 90% of what I see when I drop it in. They do release updates - but so far, nothing has allowed me to change some of the settings that I think would improve it's performance. Hopefully they will continue to update it.

I'm happy to go another 2 years with this one and then we'll see. So far no issues other than the paint job fading a bit.

I had/have that model. They refurbished mine and it still gives me trouble with connection from time to time. I bought a cordless Wybot as a back up and have had no complaints with it so far.

So i did some digging this weekend and i un screwed the swivel connector. It only had 2 prongs... Im pretty certain the Active 30i is a 3 prong unit. if those mfers send me a 2 prone cable, im gonan be pissed.

I just broke down and got a new Dolphin E30. Maytronics has a sale going 25% off. Reg $1099 o. Sale for $850.

It looks like my old Active 30 which lasted 4 years and It was definitely put to the test after Ida.

I’m going to try and not leave this one in the pool 24/7.

On my third season with my Polaris 9650IQ Sport and I've had no issues so far. I keep it in the pool 24/7 and run it every day. I only take it out when we swim, so I'm a little surprised I've had no problems with it.

It does a good job of cleaning the floor, but when I use the fine filter basket it struggles to get my tanning ledge. If I use the normal basket, it gets everything, including the waterline, just fine but doesn't pick up the really fine particles. Having to change filter baskets for different purposes is my only complaint, but it's a small one. I got it on sale at Lowes.

Highly recommend this model. Buy from marina great service
It’s WiFi scheduling and 2 modes.
Add the fine filter basket it does wonders.
Don’t pay double for a machine that does the same for less
