Is there anyone on the roster that you all think should be moved to a different spot to assist their strengths instead of exposing their weaknesses?
For instance when we had Baun. Do we have anyone like that on the roster currently?

Carr should be moved to the bench. That's a different spot.

This is sorta on topic, but I'm interested in how cam does in this defense. Is he more suited for a 3-4 now than a 4-3 DE?

We will clearly see some players in slightly different roles on defense.
It won't be as drastic as people think because all modern defenses are pretty multiple now, and we ran odd fronts under Allen.
However, Staley asks guys to do different things than DA does, and we will certainly run much more "2" and 3 man fronts.
So you should definitely expect some of the DTs to be playing 3-4 DEs, or some of our DEs to be standing up, that sort of thing

i wonder how koolaid best fits into our secondary. i'm not convinced he's a true man outside corner.

I think Penning should have been moved to left guard. But he was competent at tackle last year and would hate to move him again.
I’d also think long and hard about trading McCoy and putting Ruiz at center. Only b/c I think Ruiz is a much better center and MCCoy has way more trade value. Doubt Ruiz has any trade value.
And that’s only if we could get another good player for him.
