I’m actually coming around to being a fan of France. Lots to like there, and there are plenty of baws that see the issues. Problem is that the issues we have with Coastals dominating politics is even worse there. Paris is a beautiful city, but run by poseurs.
France is basically a national version of New York or Illinois. Something like 90% of the land area is populated by normies, but the boat anchor groupthink cities frick it up for everybody.

It's the elites, for sure. Same as the UK, same as Germany. Maybe less so with Italy or Greece, but the 'free pass' entry for folks who have already waltzed into the country without invite, without papers, without jobs .... of COURSE they're going to take what's given and claim it as their own.
