No !!!!

Stewart was paid $ 2 million to sign with USC and LSU would only pay half of that price !!

a $focused early reclass football player would not have been able to keep that under his hat.

Stewart is making more at USC than Davis made at LSU per year

Honestly, I thought the same thing, but just for a minute. And I don't think we'll miss much if anything from Stewart to USC.

Saw an article the other day…. Stewart is really showing out in USC Camp.

LSU just lost Bo Davis…. maybe it’s best Recruiter and one of the Best DT coaches in the country.

Coaching relationships mean nothing in recruiting now man, it’s all about a dollar

That’s why I can’t blame Bo for leaving. fricked up part is the tampering we’re about to get hit with on the line.

CC, can you expound on the tempering?

What's there to expound? We have a bunch of linemen that other teams want without a position coach. Other teams will try to exploit that

How are we getting hit with tampering when every team does it?

He would have had to know Kellen Moore was going to be hired as coach and that he was going to bring in Staley. That’s a lot of information to give to an 18 year old weeks in advance.

Ah yes, the all knowing “jahiem” Stewart knew that the Saints would be hiring Kellen Moore, then stealing our D Line coach… makes sense?

of course they all do. But instead of a massive push in spring we have Agents working ahead of schedule due to this.

The implication is that other schools will tamper with our players. It's the go to excuse(or reason) for canceled spring games, underwhelming coaching(looking at Rhule) and fan strife. It happens without a doubt but we do it also. "What's good for the goose" as they say. Biggest bonus of the spring portal is no conference to conference transfers for SEC schools. That eliminates a good portion of the most egregious tamperers.

Stewart didn't know. Bo Davis didn't know. Kellen Moore didn't know. He was busy winning a Super Bowl. Stewart was going the highest bidder no matter who was coaching. Hard to top what USC is giving that kid. I wouldn't have given it to Underwood much less an overrated DL that has played more in shorts than pads.

Yep.

Bo Davis told a 16yr old and his handlers, and they kept it a big secret.

Obviously he did not, our own staff didnt know until the past week.

Stewart chose USC for 1 reason, they way overpaid for him. We came in about half-60% what USC was offering.

$2M/yr for a high school DT who played 1 year of high school football and it wasnt even his last year in high school
