i'm so glad that this series has finally returned! Absolutely one of my favorites on tv.

liked it, I thought they were just going to end the whole fourth wife thing without any real drama but I'm glad its going to play out.
I never have liked Nicki because of how sneaky she is.
Barb getting sick again is a good twist.

I wish they had succeeded in killing Albie.
I feel so bad for Barb. Nothing goes well for her.

How George Michaelesque was that Alby scene. Very disturbing.

Solid first episode. Although I was disappointed we didn't get to see Anna's goods. Hate how once a HBO show gets popular the nudity disappears.
I think I am in the minority. Most people hate Bill and love Barb but not me. I am so sick of hearing poor Barb on the interwebs.
She made her bed but refuses to sleep in it and not she is making it again for the same reason. OK she thinks she is dying but Bill still has two wives. She doesn't need to give him a 4th. I am just so sick of her hypocrisy. One second she is all for the principle and the next second she hates it and then back to loving it.
In that last drive by scene with Albie are we to believe he realized that his mother put the hit on him?

The first episode was great. I really enjoyed it. I was pissed that Albie didnt die.
Although I really dont like Nikki, i do like the way she will fight for her family.
The 4th wife will make for an intersting addition to the family.
This should be a good season.

I think so, although I don't think she is his biological mother, just one of the wives.

I'm fairly certain she is his mother. Adaleen is the first wife and Alby is first son. Also Adaleen is Nikkis mother and she is Alby's sister.

the wife sat down and watched it with me. She missed the entire second season. The 4 minute intro into the the premiere was stressful and impossible to follow. Mrs. TigerPaul was very confused to say the least.
Her comments afterwards that the show has gotten a little ridiculous since the 1st season. I tend to agree. I guess the simple plot-line of keeping 3 wives happy and strained relationship with Juniper Creek couldn't last forever. I still like the show though.

Well, with each new wife and load of babies, Bill needs to make more cash. So there is a constant drive to move ahead with the next scheme before the current one has even born fruit.
I wonder how old Anna is? She definitely looks older than Margene and Nikki. Kind of an odd choice to go after an older woman to be his 4th. The actress is 38 that plays Ana so that is an odd choice. But I doubt Ana is actually going to be around for long.
