The fighting Pitinos have taken UConn's will since that timeout. This is a fun team to watch, and one that no one wants to see in their bracket come tourney time.

Very, very, impressed with SJU hadn’t caught a game of theirs all season and hadn’t figured out how they had ascended to #10.
They’ve got a legitimate star in Richmond, their guards are gritty and they all defend. That shite usually travels well, so they could be a tough out in the tournament.
Pitino has done an incredible job with that program and that snippet of him getting into their arse at halftime will bring a heartfelt smile to anyone 40+ in the room.

They've done it on defense primarily. They play hard on defense for 40 minutes, every game. They don't shoot particularly well, so it will be interesting if they draw really good defensive teams in the tourney. One mock bracket had them matched up with UCLA. The Bruins have the defense to limit them offensively. The SJU defense will keep them in most any game.
