So with House and NCAA deal on horizon with a 20-22million dollar cap per year for nil payments. Paying one player 20% of all your tital NIL payments will come back to destroy the programs. Football is predicted to have a 10-12 million per year payout. So Underwood is gonna take up 25-40% of football nil.

They are already expecting a mass exodus of top players from Michigan.

Are they not going to implement this in a way where they grandfather in existing deals? Seems like a no brainer but this is the NCAA and congress we are talking about

I know you are among the dumbest posters that this board has, so I'm not surprised that you are confused, but NIL is not the same thing as Rev sharing.

Who's to know he can play at a D1 level? I'm actually glad he passed on LSU, and for once in a very long time, 2025 is going to be a good one for Tiger fans. Nuss made the correct decision to come back.

Does anyone really care about the NCAA and their cap at this point? The cats out of the bag, schools will find ways to pay players

That’s not what revenue sharing is.

NIL is on top of rev share

No way a random blogger calling himself a journalist misunderstands things, either.

The writers of that article are as dumb as you.

NIL is not revenue sharing. Rev share will come from Michigan"s budget. Underwoods NIL deal comes from the barstool dude and the billionaire dude.

That's pure speculation, there's no proof there. C'mon man

The OP is probably the one who wrote it. Although I may be giving the OP too much credit for being able to construct multiple sentences.

The settlement will allow schools to allocate up to 22% of their athletic revenue — approximately $20 million annually - to student- athletes starting in 2025. The complication here is that Michigan got Bryce Underwood with a reported $12M NIL offer over four years.

How do you not understand that the $20M from revenue & Underwood’s $12M are separate?

Underwood is getting $12M from the Oracle CEO & Dave Portnoy

That's not how it's gonna to work. Anything over $600 has to be reported. You get caught paying underneath the table it will be just like old days

The amount is not the problem here. It’s having 18 year old unproven kids in a bidding war for their services..
