Go into settings/tv provider and uncheck espn. There is a licensing glitch. After you do that you have to jump through the hoops but it works.

I have to sign out of my provider and sign back in almost every time I change the channel now. Thankfully I only need the god awful espn app for college baseball

My Cox is down all of the sudden. FWIW, Cox sucks arse. BTW, I'm at my Moms taking care of her in BR.

I bought Elon Musks Starlink for my house in Florida, and it is amazing. Even worked during Milton.

I heard great things about starlink.

Reminds me of this skit.

The phone is what I see most problems with. I wish I knew the solution. Probably need to go into the TV settings of the phone and sign out and back in.

After an hour of ... and rebooting, Cox comes to life.

Still highly prefer Starlink and YouTube TV. I have 10 HD cameras plus 29 other devices on my network and it just flies along.

I used to have Cox cable and then ATT UVerse. I always had to login “through my provider” which never made sense to me. I had ESPN app that I paid for separately and independently from the cable. I would login on app on my phone and broadcast to whichever random tv in my house or separate vacation place tv .

Always had issues. It was very frustrating.

I no longer have cable of any kind as of year or so ago early 2024. I still have my ESPN subscription but it never asks me to login through provider. It has all run flawlessly ever since I dropped cable and don’t have to duo login anymore (knock on wood)

Mine freezes every now and then, but it's good for the most part.

I had the same issue on my phone - computer and TV worked fine. I was able to get ESPN+ to work but not SEC+ - which is what LSU was on.

Go to your phone's Settings, select Apps, then select the ESPN app. Under 'ALLOW ESPN TO ACCESS', find 'TV Provider' and turn it off. This is what worked for me - allowed me to 'Sign in to TV Provider' when I opened the ESPN app.
