This is one poorly coached team

Thank God we won the championship 2 years ago.
I thought Mulkey was a better coach than this, but it appears she is carried by the talent on the floor.
How the hell does Gilbert not come into the game until midway through the 2nd quarter?
Hey Kim, recruit a goddamn point guard.
Whatever chance this team had at winning it all just went down the drain. We desperately needed to be a 1 seed to have any shot.

Two losses all year to two top 5 teams by single digits on their home court. But yeah Kim’s a terrible coach.

Gilbert had the key turnover to spark Texas taking the lead. Timely turnovers and no fast break points lost the game for the Tigers. Also al the free throw Texas took.

I'm not sure if it was poorly coached. But what I did see was some of the girls not passing to certain girls and holding the ball. Looks like something is wrong. I have noticed this a few times.

She’s not poor, but somewhat overrated as other teams run much better systems than her. Not enough ball movement on offense and never changes anything on defense. Teams screen us and get many open looks

Disagree with your opinion of Mulkey but terrible shot selection by morrow and makala late in game. Piint guard play is pathetic with no offensive prowless. Wolfenberger should be starting over smith and gilbert and shep sharing pt guard

To win it all you have to beat the best teams. What difference is playing a 1 seed in the elite 8 vs final 4?

We got away from what got us the lead… We quit running offense, jacked up too many quick shots, and turned the ball over way too much. That feeds right into Texas that loves transition and getting easy buckets off turnovers. Stupid basketball.

She is not terrible, but two years in a row without an above average pg. Also, our offense is so predictable. We rely on our players out talenting the opponent by making individual plays. Texas clamped down defensively in the fourth and we just dribble dribble dribble and force a shot.
