Gambling + Stats

Anyone a + gambler?
I am not a big gambler, as mostly I'm a $5-10 guy on my bets but I saw draftkings now has a stat sheet.
Last year I finished up +202.46 and so far this year I'm +42.58 however, I'm a safe gambler who doesn't do a lot of ridiculous parlays. My big wins from bets placed last year were Daniels ROY at +1200 which was only a $15 bet and Spain (soccer) to win the European Championship +190 on a $50 bonus bet.

Cleared about 7k so far in the past six months. Have about 5k riding on the basketball games today

Damn, I have a friend who bets $100 to $1000 and I just can't stomach it ??
Losing a 1k bet would make me feel weird even though I could afford it at the moment.

Consistency is best. Similar bets no matter what. If you want to gradually make more money you’ll have to increase your bets as you make money and get the volume up. But i usually only bet for the fun of watching. I’ve had some pretty good success but even reading the stats and studying all day only gets you so far. Still a toss up and there definitely “spots”. Sometimes the line is so ridiculous and obvious to you but you have to pick how you want to gamble. Back to consistency - you either play your leans and guts at a steady bet amount or you leave those alone.
Long post cliffs - it’s a toss up.

Yep, $3 unit here. “For entertainment purposes only”

I know today Medvedev cost me $20 as I had him to win today (-150) and win the tournament (+120)

I’ve made my living Hank Tank, in large part as a gambler.
Some days I make twenty bets, some days I make none. There are weeks, sometimes months in fact when I don’t make a bet at all, because there simply is no play.
So I wait, plan, marshal my resources. And when I finally see an opportunity, and there is a bet to make. I bet it all.

I read where professional gamblers only win about 53% of the time

I bet just for fun. I've got 3k on LSU losing today

One of my buddies is getting there and I sweat over my $10 bets lol. He does pretty good and his unit size is appropriate (no homo) for his wagers. I usually play $20-50 each weekend. I was coming to MSB to post in the nascar thread to see if anyone puts money down on it and what app to use. I use Cesar’s most but draft kings has way more plays for nascar this weekend.

I lost $20k last year, but hit OSU national championship for $27k. Now that I have some money to play with, I'm just trying to stay disciplined and grind out small NCAAB and tennis bets. That said, I have found I generally enjoy making big bets here and there more than a lot of small ones.
You're insane betting that much daily on NCAAB. I would lose my mind.

I've been Draftkings for awhile but I used Caesars and Fanatics for the free plays. Draftkings is the easiest to use imo and gives the best bonuses.

Draftkings and Fanduel have the most options. Fanduel is probably the smoothest interface. I am partial to BetMGM because it has let me make some higher max bets than others and I can ban myself from table games.
ESPN is OK, too. I hate Caesars, I can't navigate the app and have problems depositing money.

I find DraftKings has the best bonuses, although it use to be if I didn't bet or log in for awhile DraftKings would send a deposit match. Now they don't do that

How long have you worked for them?
Pretty obvious:
1) Relatively new Poster.
2) Softball question to start discussion.
3) Multiple replies trying to influence one brand over another.

Can’t help you. You missed your chance this year to bet against UNO when they were point shaving.

I wouldn’t doubt it, those 50 people in Lakefront Arena probably aren’t big NIL guys
