Pick a new hobby and go down a YouTube wormhole. I've seen a bunch of your posts and know your situation. Nothing will occupy you more than becoming obsessed with woodworking or some shite.

I don't want to get into my backstory any but let me say I know how you're feeling. You feel alone, and there is a void that cannot be filled.

Trust me on this, another woman or a bottle of booze will only fill it temporarily. Until you become comfortable with who you are as a person alone that void will not be filled.

Pour yourself into something, I can guarantee you had hobbies long ago that you've abandoned. Bring one of those back to the forefront. You need to build confidence in yourself to be comfortable with yourself, succeeding at a hobby can help this. Understand everything that has happened to this point is outside of your control and there is nothing you can do, or could have done, to change it.

Nah don't think that way. Your child, yessir that's priority. Every moment you can spend with them absolutely do it. Make it happen, doesn't matter if it's your custody time. Take them to dinner, the park, etc.

The ex though, she was part of your life. In no way did she define who you are, you were that person before you even met her. Go find that dude and be that dude again should be your goal. No easy task I know, but that's the goal.

Hell get a dog, that's what I did. Me and that pup sat in the garage trying to figure out how to build stuff.
