Any Canik fans here? I missed the announcement at Shot Show of the Mete MC9 Prime.

It's the same size as the MC9L with a ported/compensated barrel and the flat faced Rival trigger.

MSRP will be $650 for the version with no optic and $850 with the MC04 red dot.

It's made in the USA at Canik's new West Palm Beach Florida factory!

It is only 6.73 inches long, 1.16 inches wide, and 23 ounces, but it sports a capacity of 17+1. It’s about the size of a SIG P365 XMacro.

It's optics-ready and comes with tritium night sights.

You get a premium case, two 17-round magazines, three backstrap options, a cleaning kit, mag loader, and a universal G-Code holster that can be converted from IWB to OWB and worn on either the left or right side.

My Rival is my favorite pistol. The Prime may be the first concealed carry pistol I just buy on release without even firing it first.

I went to get one today! Luckily my local store owner is a friend of mine and went to Shot Show. When I went in today he said "You're gonna want to wait until next month and get the Prime". He said he got to fire it at the range at the Show and said it's the most accurate, softest shooting compact 9mm he's ever fired.

My son has one, Canik mete sfx.
I bought it for him after his 8th grade, we have a deal that if he keeps straight A’s all year I will buy him a gun of some type.

I like it, it feels good in the hand and has a nice trigger. I wouldn’t say I’m a fan of all caniks but I like that one. I think I would buy another one but I’m more of a S&W m&p guy.

Midwest Gun Works has spot on their website for the Prime at $599

LINK

At that price for basically a hybrid of the TTI Combat and the Rival that's the size of P365 Macro, it's a no-brainer.

My man, my carry pistol is a Canik Mete MC9. Traded in the Springfield hellcat for it and it’s great.

I love Caniks. Only 9mm guns I own bc the triggers are tops.

I just want Canik to start making other calibers. Would buy a Canik 45ACP right now.

They make 30MM and 50 Cal

If you're into that sort of thing...

I shot my TP9SFX this past Sunday a good bit and it was chewing through shitty steel case ammo like a champ

Incredibly accurate

My Rival is a billy goat. Just eats everything.

It's also the most accurate pistol I've ever fired.

Pretty sure it's the exact same slide release from the Rival.

That "included" optic on the $850 MSRP version of the Prime is really nice.

I haven't even shot mine yet. I bought it a few weeks ago to replace my Glock 43 as my carry gun. Double the capacity and about the same size. I'm sure I'll like it.

It’s got the typical smooth Canik trigger. Way nicer shooting than my hellcat was or the Glock 43 which I rented

I'm probably going to get this. I have a TTI Combat that I shoot very well, and a P365X(ish) as my EDC that shoot decently well but not like the Canik. This seems like the two had a baby. Absolutely love the TTI so much.
