possible Opening Day doubleheader?

CJJ on OTB right now and the guys just told him about how the weather is looking for Saturday. CJJ said he got a text from his groundscrew guy saying they'll need to talk and that usually involves the incoming weather.

I would think it was more likely a DH on Sunday than Friday. Friday is projected to have rain in the afternoon, like gametime. Saturday is most of the day and heavier.

Looks like the rain doesn’t start till later Saturday. I’d be surprised if that game is moved.

Saturday looks ugly. Not sure about Sunday and when Purdue-FW has to leave. Assuming they have a scheduled flight.

JJ said Friday doubleheader would be most likely if Saturday game has to be moved. He also said that opening day is the best day of the season to have a doubleheader. I guess because he can get more players on the field on Day 1.
Also said he had a 5-minute sit down with every player on the team yesterday. Gave them starting line-up and let them know that it is for Friday only. Plenty time for changes due to performance.

Saturday afternoon into the night will be the worse of the two days. Friday should be relatively dry. They are calling for 1 inch Saturday afternoon
