Jalen Hurts just became the 5th starting QB to win a Super Bowl who also has win vs LSU as starting QB in Tiger Stadium. Can you name the other 4?

I was going to say Namath, but I think that’s wrong. I’ll go with Stabler as one.

Brad Johnson was 3rd string behind Casey Weldon and Peter Tom Willis.

Johnson definitely played in that game. I watched it this offseason. But Weldon may have started you’re right

Why are you not counting Joe Theismann?

I believe he beat LSU at ND.
I researched this myself, so I could be wrong.

For OP, I thought about Roethlisberger because I remember being in TS when we played him, but even my bad memory at times told me there was no way we lost that game.

I don't think Namath beat LSU at tiger stadium. The win he had against LSU was in Alabama. I'm over 70 and my memory is not so good, so I could be wrong about that.

I believe he was injured that game and backup Steve Sloan started. I don’t think Namath ever played in a game VS LSU.

Theisman did win in 1970 at South Bend, but LSU, not Notre Dame, won the following year in Baton Rouge.

No. 8: November 7, 1964: Alabama 17, LSU 9
The two schools did not play annually until 1964, when No. 8 LSU traveled to Legion Field to face No. 3 Alabama. It was the first meeting between legendary coaches Bear Bryant and Charlie McClendon.
Led by Joe Namath, the Tide struggled to generate much offense, but the Alabama defense shut down the Bayou Bengals. Alabama would win their first of five straight over the Tigers, holding LSU to under 10 points in all five games. The season would culminate with a national title for the Crimson Tide.
