Blue dog cafe has this as part of their Sunday brunch. Has anyone ever tried preparing this dish? I have found and oyster rockefeller soup recipe from John Folse that i may try to adapt to shrimp. Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I got nothing but would go out on a limb and say shrimp, spinach, and cheese....but do you think they use a shrimp stock or a chicken stock?

Mouton, here is the link to Folse's Oyster Rockefeller soup, I'm sure you can adapt to shrimp.

Thanks, that was my plan. I think im going to substitute bacon for sausage, use a shrimp stock, and make a peanut butter colored butter roux..

After seeing this recipe last week, I made the oyster Rockefeller soup yesterday. (I love oysters any way, shape, or fashion.) It was very good but maybe just a bit too rich for me- could only eat one bowl. Or maybe I just snacked too much while making the soup...
