If your Wednesday was bad, it wasn't as bad as EBR School Superintendent Lamont Cole's

-- A kid smuggles a gun into Woodlawn High under the seat of his wheelchair, evading metal detectors

One thing that I like is that Cole seemed pissed in all of his quotes in the stories and is actually condemning the behavior. I think this dude actually means well and wants to clean up this mess, but it's a large hill to climb.
And if this thread goes long enough, there is the potential for bans/ever-popular stern DM from admin...

Holy hell there is a lot to unpack in this story.
Also it kisses me off they need to spend $300K plus on weapons detection systems. It’s needed so they have to, but if kids acted right that money could be spent on so many better ways
