would you Kevin Sampson as your next coach or is it Will Wade or bust

Cenac is currently committed to Sampson and would instantly flip if we hired him

I’m the biggest WW fan there is but obviously Kelvin Sampson is higher on the list than Wade

Why tf would Kelvin Sampson leave where he’s at? It’s a 10x better program currently.

You’d have to pay him over the $5 million he’s currently making

Litterally no chance kelvin sampson would leave houston.
LSU could make him a massive offer and Houston would match.

MM probably back next season

could the allure of playing in the best conference along with a massive contact convince him? I think so

at least you know it wouldn't be a long term contract that Woody likes to give out because the man is 70 frickin years old

He’ll be 70 at the start of next season. Literally 0% chance he is LSU’s coach next season

I am an optimist but I don’t see Sampson leaving that gig. I think Wade is your best bet. He had this team in the top 25 consistently. They could play defense and were sound fundamentally. I think he jolts this program back into the top 25 and tournament conversation pretty fast.

If you’re throwing around names like Kevin Sampson why not throw the bag at Mick Cronin. In all seriousness Will Wade is our savior and it’s laughable people can’t see this. It’s very doable to get him back.

UH program is much better than LSU. UH is committed to their basketball program.

Whoever it is, we need someone with intensity and someone who can get rebounders and limit turnovers.

Not someone who says turnovers are bound to happen and therefore they can’t really be fixed… shooters of course are welcome, too
