I don't think the Dems can visualize a counterstrike right now. Trump has flanked them on all sides and in the process of disarming them. The majority of anti-Trump people with the highest level of security clearance for the Democrats and RINOs have been neutered and banned from federal buildings. The Democrat's primary funding mechanism through NGOs, USAID, is fundamentally being transformed and money is being scrutinized.

Inelegance institutions used by Democrats and RINOs and these NGOs funded by USAID are the foundation on which anti-American Democrat visions are built.

At this point I don't know where or how the Democrats can form an institutional foundation to counterstrike at this point. Maybe I'm missing something.

interesting you should mention this one: in Colorado, one of the members of the state house is a guy I know from church. When the CO legislature resumed this year they have a few big immediate items on their agenda:

1 - a ban on all magazine fed semi-auto firearms
2 - background checks for ammo purchases

and, to your point earlier, they plan to introduce legislation lowering the age of consent to 12
