Musk - USAID needs to be shut down, not an apple with a worm in it but a ball of worms.
Joni gives example: Federal worker used Staples address in DC to get higher cost of living salary benefit, while actually living out of state in low cost of living area, with management collusion on scam, IG refused to act on it.
Bond markets to benefit from DOGE cuts
Musk: that’s a lot of condoms
Government deficit spending is what creates all inflation
Senator Mike Lee: This is an inflection point on the level with 1776. We’ve misconstrued the purpose of the US government which is only supposed to do a handful of things.
Executive branch making laws (ie Chevron) is unconstitutional. Reins act will force Congress to write laws again, not admins illegal 4th branch of govt
Vivek: States are mimicking the overreaching fed government creating layers of tyranny.
Need to peel back almost all regulations and start over
