Popular Shows/Movies that you felt were drastically overrated.

Walking Dead -
Every show was the same.
Here comes a zombie, hatchet to the head, boy that was a close one.
Mind numbingly idiotic show unless you're 12 years old.
Mad Men
It wasn't bad, but way overhyped.
I think the people that loved the show were people that lived/worked in the 60's.
More of a nostalgia thing.

Ted Lasso, there I said it. First season was funny and then became unfunny with forced drama.

I think popular opinion is that the show mostly sucked, especially after the first couple of seasons.
It never gets talked about as a "great" show at least that I'm aware of.

To answer OP, for popular TV shows, Big Bang Theory has to the pinnacle.

I agree that COVID helped with the popularity of Tiger King, but that was one of the best documentary series I’ve ever seen in terms of “This feels fictional, but you couldn’t write this shite” It just kept getting more surprising.
It stands alone at the top of the “Netflix documentary” pile and it feels like every popular documentary that came out after it for a few years tried to copy it’s formula.

Sorry. I tried to watch a couple of episodes, didn't do anything for me.
No apologies.

I'm just messing with you, not every show is for every one.

Severance
If it weren’t for the Breaking Bad popularity of Saul Goodman, I probably would’ve never made it through Better Call Saul. The multiple seasons of the old dude addicted to electricity was stupid and boring as hell.

Yeah. I got tired of everyone saying "cocksucker" as many times as possible.

I don’t know you. And in real life, what does it matter to me in any way what your opinion is on certain movies or shows?
But I hate you and everything you stand for.
