Is the defense allowed to line up in a push formation?

3 fatass linemen and some pushers down low to try and outpower the line instead of junping over? Maybe even go flat on the ground essentially making it hard for the line to move forward? Of course you have to have outside help for a pitch but is this legal? Would it even work? Trying to scheme against that damn tush push after the auto TD threat. There has to be a way

Tush push, especially with Hurts, doesn’t seem like it can be stopped.

The tush push needs to be banned. Absolute bush league.

What exactly do you think defenses are doing?

OL would just fall on you and Hurts jogs in. Tush Push is an unbeatable play because of physics.

Wasn’t it already illegal before and then made legal or was it only illegal in college football?

Either way, the hypocrisy of the NFL to claim to be about player safety and still allow that garbage is ridiculous.

I don’t like the eagles but that’s just silly. There’s absolutely NOTHING to stop other teams from copying it with a running back or TE or someone else under center if they don’t have the qb to run it. Just have to work on it and they’ve refused to.
