Titans hire David Ziegler who was previously with the Saints

Ziegler was a part of the staff this year and was supposedly a major part of the coaching search.
This one is a bigger hit than Brady turning them down. This was someone around your scouting processes, your coaching search and bailed. Absolute disaster

He was part of the organization for a year and is leaving for a bigger role. Chill.

Nobody remembered he was here and he came from the Raiders so everybody probably complained when he was hired but now when he leaves he's Bill Polian.

His new position is clearly a promotion.
Of all the things that have ensured this to being a dumpster fire for the last 3 years, this surely is near the bottom of the list.

It’s bad optics when it’s been promoted as a five-six man team running the coaching search and one of them bails a day after a premium candidate told them no.

He went from a "personnel advisor" by title, to an Assistant General Manager. This is a nothing burger, optically or not.

The Personnel department is horrible. He was brought in to improve it.
