that was draconian defense in the Aubie Tennessee game.

Much of that was because they dominated the offensive glass, forced 14 turnovers, and got some buckets in transition. Overall they shot 38%. 13% from three. That’s not “good offense”. LSU’s tremendous effort was how they were able to manufacture points in spite of a poor half court offense approach and generally bad execution

To otherwise put this moral victory post in context, 73 is the second LOWEST point total an opponent has scored against Alabama in SEC play. Only South Carolina scored fewer points (68).

If you want to celebrate anything, celebrate the defense effort (really the rebounding effort). Only 3 teams this year have held Alabama to less than 80. Ole Miss, Purdue, and…….McNeese St.
