That’s a little harsh. God is all knowing and loves all of us very much, so He definitely knew that it was going on, heard the prayers of the victims, and decided not to intervene. In fact, He also declines to intervene on behalf of children who no doubt are being raped around the world at any given moment in time (like as I type this, for example).
He works in mysterious ways, though, so who am I to ask? He loves us all very much…especially the children. That’s all that you need to know.
