Maybe he knew the public humiliation would come his way in January when Gayle forced his hand.
Gayle should be ashamed of not intervening against Loomis years ago and this could’ve been avoided.

I mean… allen sucked
but i was fine keeping him if we commited to a couple really bad years and getting our cap back on track and getting high draft picks

Well. Loomis created cap hell. And word is he is trying to keep some of the staff.
That’s all on Loomis. Nothing else. It’s his fault nobody wants the job. Hopefully he lets McCarthy have the keys.

In all fairness…Allen is a good Defensive Coordinator
He was not Head Coach material.
His DC coaching career is not over.
