Does anyone know any places that will deliver tonight? I'm about all out of gumbo. Tried uber eats, door dash, pizza hut, papa johns, and domino's with no luck.

TIA

Dude, delivery companies are probably ALL closed since the inclement weather conditions and black ice roadways puts employee / drivers at risk for an accident.

Make a PB&J , BLT, or grilled cheese sammich. Cereal, soft boiled eggs, grits, French toast, fried ham will also feed you for dinner

Yep, figured. Just didn't know if there were any daring Chinese restaurants out there trying to take advantage of the no delivery competition.

Do we even have Chinese restaurants in 2025 that do their own internal delivery?

Oriental Pearl does their own deliveries, at least last time we had it delivered. I think they charge a $7 fee and it might only be within a certain radius.

I'd feel like a lazy bum sitting in an ivory tower if I made a delivery driver get on these roads to bring me a pizza.

I know this is the next day, but my wife had InstaCart deliver groceries to the house yesterday. They even brought vodka and scanned her ID for proof of age. Lol

First time we've ever used it, but would use it again if needed.

We planned ahead and got plenty of groceries before the event for various meals. I made shrimp and grits the night before, so we had that and leftovers.

They aren't risking their vehicle for a $5 tip

Obviously late, but even DoorDash was shut down yesterday (not that I tried). They didn't open back up until sometime early this afternoon (I looked for lunch and it was still shut down for driver safety).
