Sub-Reddits banning X links because of Elon's out of context photo

Not that it really matters, it's just rediculous how willing people are to be told what to think without even seeking background information.

Ive tried hard to leverage that app at the sub reddit level for DIY and for tracking various different things but the rot there is so deep that daring to point out on an MLB subreddit that the major leagues and all the agents post their announcements on X will get you ratio'd via bots and banned.
Its not a viable platform for anyone who doesnt post on democratic underground at this point and they're extremely salty at the moment about the election so they've taken it up to 11 with the brigading.

Reddit is not a monolithic entity there are about 150,000 active subreddits and some ridiculous number like 3 million total. Most of them have practically zero political discussion and many actually ban it to prevent discussions from going off the rails. I am not a fan of Reddits layout and the general way it functions but there are hundreds of excellent subject matter forums for everyone that is dominated by unhinged political frickery.
