I’ve been keeping an eye on the outages page on entergy’s website and so far it looks good. The real test is going to be tonight after a full day of snow and 10 degree weather.

If you're just getting straight up snow, hopefully you'll be in the clear.

It's where you get freezing rain that widespread outages start to become an issue.

Should be ok

The problem is icing which shouldnt be a problem

Entergy folks claim a snow only event isnt a huge issue for their infrastructure

Thanks Mister “This kicker has never missed a PAT in 132 attempts. The snap is good, the hold is good, OHH NO, he MISSED IT!”

Good news is supply is more than adequate across the grid today. Kind of surprising to be honest

I think most will ok today but tonight and into tomorrow morning we may have a proble with it being 15 degrees it will cost the lines with ice. And of course the possibility of someone driving and losing control and slide into a pole.
