Rizzi is actually one of the better STCs in the league. CSP would be smart to bring him over in that capacity.

Dude might be the greatest special teams coach we've ever had and everyone is eager to tell him to beat it. I don't want him back as head coach either but if the next coach offered him a job in his original role, I think he loves it here and would take it.

The interim never comes back to the next staff and it's even less likely with Rizzi since he actually wants the head coach job. The interim feels slighted because he didn't get the job and the new coach doesn't want a guy that had eyes on his job around. Makes sense that Payton would be interested in him since he hired him originally.

Well we gave him a chance and he sucked. I can remember at least two of Rizzi wins were due to a missed FG.
