Ken Paxton?
Ted Cruz?
Aileen Cannon? She's in her early 40's and could hold down a conservative seat for a few decades.
Anyone else?

Hopefully this year. He’s great.
And to his replacement, I’m guessing Ted Cruz.

Cruz is too valuable in the senate to put him as a SCOTUS.

This would be great if Abbott would appoint Paxton to back-fill his Senate seat.

Oh please, please, PUH-LEEZE let this happen.
The meltdown from that Lake Chuck strip mall shyster would make Chernobyl look like a marshmallow roast.

Cannon or Cruz would be fine by me.
Trump relies heavily on The Federalist Society for his appointments so we might wanna take a gander at their highest rated judges on their list.
If we're lucky Sotomayor will croak and Jackson will get runover by a bus early in Trump’s term.
Is there not another SCOTUS judge thinking of retiring as well?
The libtards will lose their shite if he appoints Cannon to take Thomas' seat on the bench.
I'm not sure how I feel about another female on the bench after some of ACB's decisions that she's handed down. She's also been instrumental in denying Cert on a couple of important 2A cases in her circuit(s).

Alito is also over 70, so he could be stepping down too, and Trump could replace two justices.
Maybe we could get two of Cruz/Paxton/Cannon.

I don't know, but it better be a damn man.

Has to be Mike Lee or Ted Cruz . At least we know they will have the same if not close to the same record as Thomas . We will lose him soon and he was the best justice in the court.

Can we get John Roberts to step down first?

I feel you here, and I don't know shite about any of Cannon's other judgments, just that she threw out the bullshite documents case in Florida tells me she at least has common sense, which is about the best you can ask for in a young judge for a lifetime appointment.

I'd take either of those.

I hadn't considered Paxton for the bench. He would be an amazing pick.
