ST George taxes going up

already got the sales tax up from 9.5% to 10.5% and want to have mayor making 175k chief of police making 150k. maybe actually provide some services before making yourself higher paid than BR mayor Sid George. i mean edwards

They should pay very little. That gets the best candidates who are totally not corruptible. Also, how hard can it be to be the mayor of a very large city during it's formative years? I mean any ol' idiot can step in and build a city.

The mayor’s salary is NOT 175K. The salary approved is 160K a year.
Council person 36K
Chief of Police 140K
These salaries will be in the home rule charter and voters need to approve it.
