Coming back to the game after 1+ years off due to neck and back injuries.

I'm wanting to switch to graphite iron shafts to it possibly being easier on my back (maybe I'm wrong but seems like it would be)

I play Modus 3 105 when healthy and am looking at maybe recoil 95 shaft. I might do big demo day in early Spring if everything lines up but mostly just bored wanting to talk shop about golf equipment

Thanks

Anyone play recoil shaft in their irons?

I just started playing the Fuji Axiom with Velicore. I’m really liking them I was doing steel fiber before those.

I’m 67, left Dynamic 100 shafts for Acrotech Steel Fiber i80cw. Love the reaction, better flight, and getting some bite. Played for 60 years and carry a 5 handicap.

I was about to switch to graphite a few months back until my back fully healed up.

The MMT shafts were forgiving yet performed like a steel shaft.

Thanks all, I really don't care about what equipment I'm playing so long as it helps me play better. I will play the most shovel of shovels and the goofiest shaft if it's what helps

Pay to get fitted to see what graphite shafts would be best for you. There’s so many different options now. I was playing MMTs which I loved. Recently got fitted for new irons and KBS TGI Graphite shafts.

MMT shafts are excellent and they offer a large selection of weights and flexes.

Check out the Aerotech Steelfibers. Feel more like steel than the Recoils and very easy on the joints. Probably offer the most weight options as well.

Have a nagging wrist injury and am putting off the fusion surgery I need. MMTs have allowed me to keep playing.
