I’m in the BR area if that matters. We’ve never been on a cruise or been to Alaska. We are a family of 5 but the cruise line only allows you to book for 4.
We are considering leaving from Vancouver and heading northbound, finishing in Anchorage. It’s my understanding that only the Princess and Holland ships go into Glacier National Park
Any advise or recs are appreciated. Thanks

If you want to send me an email to ... I'll send over a recommendation for a person we have used in the past. She is great.

I have taken that route twice, both times on Holland America. The cruise ends in Seward and you take a short bus ride to Anchorage.
I highly recommend Holland America.
I am sure that Princess is nice too.
We saw the Princess ship and their hotel in Denali and had some interaction with the Princess passengers. It looked fine.
I have taken a Princess cruise but not to Alaska. The similarities between HAL and Princess are probably greater than the differences.
One time we took the extension to the Denali Park and the other time we went up a week early and divided our time between Vancouver and Victoria.
Great vacations.
