You take your right hand flip it over and swing it swiftly at her.. keep the pimp hand strong.. JK
I havent figured out how they remain open.. Im guessing they are either getting the old people crowd or the college doesnt know any better crowd..
Take the same money go down the street to Louisiana Lagniappe tonight and get a much MUCH better meal.

DON"T GO!!!!! My husband had a business lunch there literally andsaid none of it was good! You enter into their tour bus stop gift shop! Don't get me wrong like in the 80's and early 90's it was good!

Parrains would be a better option as well. Hell I can name alot of places that would be a better option.. shite who eats there? They fell off like 10 years ago.

I'm partial to the '70s, out on Airline Highway.
Waiting for the false river folks to chime in.
I can't understand why that place now has to be terrible.

It's a shame they went to crap because they used to be such a great restaurant.
dont go. Go to other places rec'd in this thread.

Try this approach....
Suggest that instead of an evening at the Pink Palace that it's been a really long time since you've had a nice, romantic dinner together. Tell her you want to take her someplace special.
R&K is for tourists and Hilton hotel guests without a rental car.

Only time I was remotely interested in going there was when they did the mystery theatre dinner thing just because I like the board game Clue. And still in the end I just couldnt spend my money to have their food.

I'm not trying to be rude, just telling you what my husband said. He had to go to a luncheon meeting there yesterday and everyone had to pay 35$ and he felt so ripped off...quote"NONE of it was good"...for 35$ a head at a lot of other sefood places in b.r. you could eat like a friggin king!

Seriously just accidently miss the drive way and drive down to perkins road take a left and hit Louisiana Lagniappe. Shouldnt be packed on a Wed night and its probably the best place you can eat in BR. Prices are around 20-30 a person.

there are only a few restaurants in Baton Rouge that I "like" and Louisiana Laniappe is definitely one of them...

Parrains is a great place to dine. Easy to get to with good food, service, and prices.
