The entire fanbase wanted to publically execute him just a month a go; now he is one game away from a ticker tape parade.
Hope he wins and gives both middle fingers to the bucknut fans before taking another job

Well when you let half the damn sport in the playoff this is what happens. Some lower team can make a late run even though their body of work over the season didn’t justify it.

Oh yeah, that body of work from #3 seed Texas was a beauty

You can see this both ways
When you have a 12 seed or a non blueblood team making a run one of these years there will be questions about legitimacy
Or
You dont have to worry about going through a brutal regular season where your chances of MNC game used to be diminished if you get a L in the season opener or along the way. Now all we need is to get to playoffs and hope for favorable matchups like ND

They almost fired his arse when they found out he was changing the plays. As soon as he stopped getting in the way, Ohio starts dominating

Terrible argument, a bunch of mid level teams looks better on paper but a schedule with 2-3 elite teams and the rest trash are more dangerous

He’s an 8 seed with 2 losses. If they win the title, they deserve an * next to it. He’s very lucky that the playoffs expanded this year. Osu was barely winning games during the season. They just happen to be clicking at the right time with a BOUGHT roster

I can’t help but be a little sad that Ohio St. Losing to Michigan and finishing 3rd in their conference essentially doesn’t matter anymore.
I guess I sound like an old man but that takes so much away from what college football was IMHO.

Why would anyone’s opinion of him change after this season?
Posted on 1/11/25 at 9:13 am to Lt. Columbo
The entire premise of ever wanting him gone was fricking dumb. Yes it’s horrible how often he loses to Michigan, but CFB has never been more all about talent acquiring as it is now, and they are almost always at worst a top 5 roster talent wise. Dude can also coach offense with a salty defense. I just think they stopped taking the MI game seriously enough

You all bitch about him being born on 3rd base and how terrible he is in big games. Now you bitch when SOME (not all) fans expect him to do at least something with that.
Make up your minds please.

This is fricking stupid. I hate Ohio St. but they have beat the teams in front of them in the playoff. Do you think a team that actually lost during the playoffs should just be automatically assigned to play the NC?
And what do you think the * would say? Won the 1st 12 team playoff?

If it was LSU he wouldn't agree with his own point. He just has an irrational hate for tOSU.

Or are there hundreds of us and some have one option and some have others and you’re lumping us all together?

College football has always been about acquiring talent.
Only the method of acquisition has changed.
