There's no way it will be finished in a month.

But it WILL be "ready!"

It will be just like the Stadium Club when it first opened for the Tennessee game on Monday night. It was able to function but it didn't look good. There were hardly any ceiling tiles, shite everywhere but it had seats, ac, food and drink. It took over a year to finally look like it should for the amount I am paying to sit there.

I just wanna know how many people work in that area, and what is there to eat around there? Pluckers?

Pluckers & Voodoo BBQ (my choice) on Nicholson, Walkon's, Quizno's, Izzo's, Nine Dragon, Mellow Mushroom, etc. on Burbank. A short, easy drive from downtown.

The new Box is already further along than the Stadium Club expansion was when it first opened.

Because all of the Construction Mgt majors who start the threads are worried the finishing will be a couple months behind schedule, according to their estimates, EPC schedules, and manpower loading.

From the pictures on the lsusports.net website, the field and bleachers certainly look ready. Two weeks is a good estimate.

I'll post my thoughts and evaluation when I get back from the basketball game tonight. I'm afraid at what I think I'll see.

FWIW, I see it every day. I just don't really feel the need to post. I'm not in the stadium-building business. I'm sure we'll have baseball in Feb.
