Spent a lot of time in the UAE and Oman so I’ve played golf in Dubai many times. My favorite course in Dubai is the Majilis course. It is the championship course that regularly hosts European Tour tournaments. I believe you can still get on without being or knowing a member. Emirates also have the Faldo course. Quite frankly I hated this course. Lots of layup and quirky holes. Unfortunately it’s lighted for nighttime play unlike the Majilis.

Dubai Creek is a fun course and I’m not sure if it’s lighted for nighttime play. My experience with night golf is it can be fun especially in the summer when it’s too hot to play in the day. There are tons of other courses in Dubai and you probably can’t go wrong in whichever one you choose.

I stayed at the Park Hyatt in Dubai several years ago. Dubai Creek golf course was right there. I ran on the cart paths early one morning but never got to play it. It looked like a really nice course though and regret I didn’t have time to play at round.

Played at Els Club and the back nine at Trump under the lights last fall. Not sure if you need a member at Els (I was with one) or not, but Trump is open to public play. Night golf is back 9 only, but well worth it.

Also played the Abu Dhabi City Course under the lights which is on the infield of a camel/horse racing track. Quite the experience.

Thanks for the tips, think im definetely leaning towards Majlis or Dubai Creek. Prob Majlis bc it is right next to the palm. Night golf does look like it would be interesting though

All courses are semi-private, meaning anyone can play as long as you’re willing to pay. They are all expensive at the “rack rate” as well- around $275-300. Majilis at EGC is good but can be tough to get on. Els is generally in the best shape (I’m biased being a member), Creek is hit or miss but a good course. Trump is a nice track too. All are similar distance from Palm, except for the Creek.
