re: Anyone played in Dubai?

Played at Els Club and the back nine at Trump under the lights last fall. Not sure if you need a member at Els (I was with one) or not, but Trump is open to public play. Night golf is back 9 only, but well worth it.

Also played the Abu Dhabi City Course under the lights which is on the infield of a camel/horse racing track. Quite the experience.
VPN works for all the channels except what is considered “local” like ABC FOX CBS. Only here for short time so didn’t know beforehand.
Anyone have an idea of a place to watch the game in Dubai or Abu Dhabi? YoutubeTV has location restriction on local channels and games on ABC unfortunately. Help needed.
I'll reach out to the GM and/or pro out there tomorrow and get you some information to your email. Just caught up on the thread.
No need for a GFMe, If y’all want to set up GCOH just holler...

Got your email so pulling down mine.

Shout to to TigerAttorney for the Crewe of Mystic Spirits pick of Eagle Rare (courtesy of BigRyno). She’s flowing quite smoothly. Might pop the Far Niente if things keeping going the way they are!
8 Green 9 Tee should be a good spot. The shots into 8 green will be incredible, over the cliff and into a tiny green. If you can get a seat at 7 green that’ll be a great spot for par threes. 7 tee you may be able to see guys hitting into 6 green and you can see the shots into 7.

Played it about a month ago and they had most of the stands up. That shot into 8 is a beast.
That's where we were too. Forrest Glade. The couple that bought our house moved down from Washington State and is surely freaking out about all of this.
GR, you in the front or back of Fall Creek? Anyone flood up there, i just moved out of Fall Creek back Downtown.
Don't get your hopes up. Everything down there is has been getting hammered. Their home may be ok but access may be impossible.

Not super close but homes in friendswood had up to 5' of water in them.
Reporting from downtown Houston. I can barely see buildings that are 2 blocks away. Lightening seems like it is striking everything. I can't imaging any interstate is passable at this point.
What's the name of your company?
Yea, hopefully I'm wrong, but indicators that I've seen in the last month tell a flat to declining story for the next 12 months.
Spot prices for Frac horsepower are double or triple what they were 6 months ago. Contract prices are 50 to100% higher. I agree that pumping 60 stages are increasing well costs, and the production may not follow. Regardless, when budgets were made the increases were not incorporated in them. Companies are competing with a much higher baseline than 6 months ago. When horsepower goes from12K per stage to 24K, and sand goes from 4 cents/lb landed to 8, it doesn't take long at 42 dollar oil for activity to slow. Those two items account for over 50% of the cost of a Frac job, so if your Frac that you budgeted went from 2mm dollars to 2.5-3mm it hurts.
Not for long. Frac prices are getting out of control. Drilling is still going because of contracts. A report I got this week showed that over 150 DUCs were getting added to the count monthly. Additionally to that, oil forecasts aren't showing anything over 50 for the rest of the year, with one investment bank thinking it could be 30 at some point. Private Equity money will soon dry up and activity will slow. It may not be this week or month, but the rest of the year could be a downtrend. Hopefully that's wrong, but indications are it will happen.
Definitely. I'd expand your search to west Texas. Frac supposed to be slowing down over there so there may be more incentive to keep some equipment working that may be excess to the demand.
I'd hit up the auctions. Lots of equipment being auctioned that needs a little work. You'll be hard pressed to rent a unit from an existing service provider to use it for work that they could pick up. How much you charging for NU/ND?
I can see that in S Texas. A lot more activity down here and the service providers are a little more level loaded. What's the scope of your project that you need it for?

ETA.

Seeing the post above I'd hit up the auctions. Lots of equipment being auctioned that needs a little work. You'll be hard pressed to rent a unit from an existing service provider to use it for work that they could pick up.

How much you doing these NU/ND jobs for if I may ask?
Assuming you're actually needing it in or around Tyler, I'm sure any on the East Texas/N. LA service providers that do nipple ups would have one sitting around to rent. Haven't worked up there in a while so I don't knows still around. A quick google search should produce a handful of them.
