I know most hate the idea of a defensive HC, but it doesn't concern me.

Total HCs in NFL with playoffs % in ()...
Off HC = 19 (42.1%)
Def HC = 12 (41.7%)
ST HC = 1 (100%)

Im ok with Flores.

But unless Glenn has crazy great leadership qualities I just dont get how his resume as a DC qualifies him for the next step.

Defense rankings under Glenn

Last year 19th
22' dead last
21' 29th

People want to give him a pass for injures but you have multiple years to go off. This year has actually been one of his better and it's still not good

I love the possibility of Flores.
My concern with Glenn is that players who know him from before will respond to him like a buddy and not a coach. The locker room never took Allen serious and that is what affected the culture so much.

Glenn's not my #1 guy but he's been gone since the 2020 season. There's only a handful of guys on the team now that remain from then and a couple of them will be gone by next year.

Comparing Glenn to allen is insane. Glenn is a respected former player for one he already is above allen just because he can command respect as a man from other men?

Antonio Pierce and Jarod Mayo are former players. That shouldn't be the main reason you hire a guy

Im comparing them because they are former players you jackass. You are playing a race card because you have no leg to stand on.

Loomis serves at the whim of this Emperor, and Dennis is more comfortable keeping him, it’s one less thing.

Zero pressure or even questions from Gayle to either.

Lauscha is also in charge of the similarity-abysmal Pelicans.

Note a trend here folks?

It absolutely shouldn't be the only reason, but on the flip side of that Campbell, Ryans, and Harbaugh would like to have a word.

At the end of the day, I just want a leader that can command respect of the players. It seems like Aaron Glenn could very well be that guy among a few others.

He’s 87. Don’t think he’d make it through a game let alone a season.

Oh I agree. I just dont think it should be the only reason.

I think you need to excel somewhere be it offense, defense, QBs, Wrs, Dbs...etc. i just dont see that from a guy like Glenn. Just his tenure as a DC is of concern.

The guy is was arguing with just seemed to want a player as a coach regardless if it's deserved

What? They’re ranked 8th in points allowed and are the best third down defense in football.
