He should demand a trade unless and until the Bengals bring in an OL who can keep him upright. That franchise is going to kill his career well before it should be over.

You could see him grimacing as he moved his neck. Looked like his face mask planted in turf but his body continues to move forward compressing his neck vertebrae. He’ll have a sore neck.

Some due to injury
Some due to his contract.
They will not be able to keep Chase and Higgins so they will have some money to spend. It should be on defense and Oline.

The oline has nothing to do with his contract.
The o line isn’t terrible like they were his rookie season but still has room to improve. They overpaid for Orlando brown who the chiefs gladly let walk.
Some of his sacks come from him trying to extend plays and he has admitted that

His Oline is not good. Brown is a disappointment for sure.
My point is Joe has a 50MM contract and they aren’t signing both Higgins and Chase. So counter that they need more balance so got get a better line and defense so they can run and stop other teams.
