I was checking this years conference bowl records and found this link to be interesting about all time bowl wins. So I shared it.

Thanks. I would have never guessed that LSU has more bowl wins than Ohio St, Oklahoma, Nebraska, and Notre Dame.

List is skewed, because Notre Dame would not accept bowl invitations from 1925 to 1969, when they finally began going to bowls with an acceptance to play Texas in the Cotton Bowl.

And that was their own decision and doesn’t skew the list. Just means they were a DNP for a while.

Notre Dame did not participate in bowls until early 70's when the Cotton Bowl took ND over a better LSU team. That Bowl Committee really screwed LSU in that deal for a few extra bucks and publicity.

That's because a lot of those teams wins came back when they played with leather helmets

Notre Dame is misleading. They never played in a bowl before 1970 --- fvk the Fighting Irish 1969 football team

Again, it’s not “misleading.” They was their choice as a program. And it was a short-sighted one.

How is Texas ahead on f us if they have two more losses. I guess they made 2 more bowls that we didn’t?

Curious how many are NY6+ bowls. Someone do the math, I am too lazy
