Any Recommendations for a 4 or 5 BR beach house vacation rental?

We will have 8 adults and 4 kids. We have been going to Destin/ Gulf Shores area the last 3 years and want to change it up a bit. Maybe something with an easy flight out of Nola (Mexico, Bahamas) or a beach house further east in Florida. Not really interested in all inclusive resorts, mainly because of the quality of food. Looking to spend maybe $800-$1,300 a night. Thanks in Advance

Further east in Florida try Anna Maria Island. Check out places on amilocals.com
Near Tampa which has direct flights from Nola or 11 hour drive. Can also take kids to Busch Gardens, Legoland (1.5 hours) or Orlando parks (2-2.5 hours) for a day.

Yeah, this will dictate a lot of recs.
Going blind, given only what you've told us, check out St. George Island and Cape San Blas. They're east of Destin/PCB.

How does Anna Maria Island compare to 30A? I'd love to check out a new beach area but my young adult kids love 30A and want to keep going back there. (We'll be going for the 4th of July week, if that makes a difference).

Roatan is an easy flight from Houston. We stayed at a compound with 6-7 "pods" attached to the main living/kitchen area.

I have a 4 bed plus bunk room / 4 bath near Rosemary Beach that is perfect for that size party if you are interested. I can send you the listing if you would like.

Anna Maria island is a barrier island that is mostly 4 or 5 blocks wide and 7 miles long. It is comparable to 30a in that it doesn't have any high rise hotels or condos. It feels small on the island, but it is located in a large metro, so you can do all the city things like museums or a MLB game. It is also close enough to the parks in central Fla if your kids get bored.
