Yet PFF only graded him 59.6. Still don't understand that.

Likely due to his play on offense as a receiver. They grade every play, not just good plays, and he was on the field for 58 plays.

I don't think they're grading him on special teams. Even if it's included, it only made up a handful of his total snaps.

They have not included Special Teams at all yet in the bowl game grades. I know because I'm looking right now and it doesnt have anything there for special teams.

Thomas got a 59.6 grade for OFFENSE specifically only

Offense, defense and special teams are all separate grades

It was just a matter of time before Thomas had a return TD. He was close multiple times this year. Now you add to that group the SEC career record holder for KO return TDs!

LSU should have both Brown and Thomas back on KOs...and opponents should never try to allow a returnable kick. But it almost feels like the plan should be both guys have the green light to return any KO that doesn't literally land out the back of the endzone. This is a weapon LSU MUST try to take advantage of.

I have finally stopped holding my breath when someone is fielding a punt or kick-off. He was awesome in this game!
