Customers evacuated Hancock Whitney Bank in Uptown New Orleans Thursday morning before the location was shut down.

Shortly before 9 a.m., the bank located on 5335 Tchoupitoulas Street was shut down. New Orleans Police Department officers surrounded the location as employees and customers huddled outside. Two officers from the NOPD Special Investigations unit arrived at the scene at 9:18 a.m.
