Dear Facebook,

When my brother sent me the first photo of my niece, I could not take my eyes off of that baby.

I've never experienced a feeling like that before for another human being, and I can only imagine what my brother is feeling.

I always said I'd never have kids and live the bachelor life forever, but becoming an uncle has changed me for the better I think.

I love my baby niece to pieces.

Happy New Year, OT!

You do know that guncle =/= uncle.

False representation.

Serially, congrats. Having kids is/was the the highlight of my life.

Congratulations!

But on another note, if your niece was just born, wouldn't you have become an uncle about 40 weeks ago?

Good point. It was just amazing to see that child's face even though it was a picture.

What a blessing for our entire family

Congrats! But remember, you can give other people’s kids back to them at the end of the day. Your own kids will cost gargantuan amounts of money and cause enormous amounts of debt. Just sayin

Having a niece or nephew is great. It's like having all the good parts of being a parent without all the best, worst, and bad parts on a convenient timescale.

I asked my dad how much he spent on me and my siblings.

He responded: "Less than half than what all these idiots in the country spend on their kids. How do you think we live so nicely? Would you prefer all new clothes, or the summer trips?"
