This is the what appears to be the earliest video of the crashed truck.

What are you talking about? Its on there... Its not attached to the cab, its coming up from the Tailgate.
ETA: The angles in the original photos make it look like its attached to the cab, but its clearly coming up from the tow hitch.

Not an idiot.. it def looks like its the cab in the original photos, so you have to follow the pole down to where it attaches.
But the original video does go to show that it looks like it wasn't unwrapped. Wasn't covered up by NOPD, just was twisted.
