As a grandfather and 70 yrs old, these are the things I teach my grandsons who are a bit too competitive. We need mire of this and I think coaches should preach this more.

If you really look at sports especially College, there is plenty of this. They just don't show it on the hilight reels.

I have two daughters that play softball. One of my favorite things about the sport is at the end of the games the two teams hold hands around the mound and pray.
