Just because we don’t have blind optimism doesn’t mean we aren’t fans. We want Kelly to succeed as bad as everyone else on here does. But he has yet to prove his worth to this fanbase. It’s why I don’t buy into preseason hype anymore with Kelly as coach.
The hype going into the 2023 season with JD5 returning was absurd. Everyone on here, including myself, truly believed that we would be competing for a national championship that year. Then we got our asses beat that first game. Ever since then, I’ve learned not to buy into the hype.

They know, that’s why they complain. You don’t know, so you don’t have anything to complain about. Defense sucked, kicking game sucked, offense is sporadic, hot hand never touches ball again, 51-17 win turns into. 44-38 ish game, no sacks, running game is putrid, no adjustments, and Baylor sucks.
