Malik would have at least 120 catches had he not missed time. He STILL has 104, trailing Brock by four.

I like bowers a lot, he’s one hell of a player. Just saying Malik smashes this record if he doesn’t miss a few games.

Bowers was the best player in college football the last 2 years. People don’t wanna hear it because he played tight end for Georgia but it’s just facts

It is not Bowers fault that someone else who may or may not have broken a record, got hurt.

The real fraud of these recent records is guys like Ditka had 8-12 game seasons, whereas this new generations have 16-19 games per season. It really makes seasonal records very subjective.

He didn't play for LSU.

Bowers doing it as a tight end is impressive.

Just because Malik got hurt, it didn't make Bowers' record fraudulent.

One is an elite wide receiver and the other is an elite tight end. Comparing them is fricking stupid.

Bowers record was set in 17 games, Ditka's record was set in a 14 game season. It's like comparing apples to oranges. Both were and are exceptional in their own time frame.

I mean people on here celebrated him breaking Reed's record, when he had more games since bowl games didn't count for Reed.

Where the hell did you pull these numbers out of your arse from? Ditka played in 14 game season not 8-12. No one is playing 19 game seasons today. It’s 17 games.

That’s the nature of the beast. Dickerson broke OJ’s record in 16 games. OJ did it in 14. Saquan will break it in 17. They should make the real records yards per game. No one will ever break OJ’s yards per game record.
